Hi readers, it’s been long not write this blog. Yes on last days I am busy doing a project. The project is in Seminyak. What I did still on survey and concept design approach. It is a restaurant surrounded by shops.

Seminyak is well known by its small street with artshop stand in a line left right of the Seminyak street. This is a busy and crowded area. There are many shops which sell fashion, lights, artwork, furniture, office of money changer, supermarket, bank, travel agent, and behind the Seminyak street there are many private villas rented.

My client is an Italian businessman, he runs the resto. He got the place around 5 years ago, made some renovation and rented the shops. He got U letter building shape that is why he made restaurant at the inner courtyard. But now he wanted to open the space more so when people walk around Seminyak Street will directly see shops inside and the restaurant as the inner courtyard, an open air restaurant with trees as the roof. It is very nice at night.

The plan is to make better price of rental program for the shop, because the business runs well. What potential he sees are more open the space then more people come, and then hope transaction runs well The shop renter also makes good business.

I think this is good idea, because in a solid mass urban city scape in Seminyak making open space will be friendlier to human presence. And it is good for culinary business or art market.
